There’s nothing more satisfying than getting your hands dirty while doing something good for the environment. Keney Park Sustainability Project is hosting outdoor sustainability and environmental activities all throughout the month of April. Learn about the history of Keney Park and its pond inhabitants, go on lecture walk and talks, and clean up the park and surrounding community.
Keney Park Sustainability Project is always doing community events—whether it be building a garden or hosting an ice cream party. This is a great way to get the family involved, especially the little ones.
Whether you want to get involved in community projects or simply take a stroll through our parks, check out our Guide to Hartford Parks for more information.
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Hartford, Pratt Street is the place to be this spring. With a handful of restaurants, bars, and shops, Pratt Street has a little something for everyone.
Every month there will be a variety of events held on Pratt, like live musical performances, pregame festivities, and puppy hours. On April 16th, Pratt Street is hosting a spring break beach-themed block party. During the day, families are welcome to stop by and enjoy live music, interactive performances, and painting classes hosted by Painting with a Twist. At night, college students are invited for drink specials and a live DJ performance.
